Demon Spirits

Demons spirits are the enemy of the human race. Demon Spirits can invade and dwell in the body of a born again and a not born again person. However, demon spirits can not touch the spirit of the born again Christian because the Holy Spirit maintains it sealed. Learn how to cast demons out. Learn about the weapons of your warfare.

Satan can not attack God personally; therefore, Satan's strategy is to kill God's creation. In the Bible there is spiritual death and physical death. When you accepted Jesus as your Lord, you passed from spiritual death to life. God told Adam that on the day that he ate of the forbidden fruit, Adam would surely die. Adam died spiritually and was separated from God. His physical death happened a few hundred years later.


Satan has no expression on this Earth unless man gives him expression. If he can influence a man or take over his being (possession) then he (Satan) can carry out his wicked plan to kill, steal, destroy.


What stops Satan in your life as a Christian (a born again believer in Jesus Christ):

  • taking authority over the works of the enemy in Jesus' Name and shutting them down
  • submitting to God and resisting the devil
  • staying firm in the truth of God's word and not believing the devil's lies
  • knowing the Word of God (Jesus countered Satan's lies with the Word of God saying, "it is written")
  • know your identity in Christ and speak God's truth about yourself (self deprecating humor is a demonic tool to gain access)
  • do not be double minded; believe in Christ with all your mind, body, soul (do not give an inch to the devil)


Jesus cast out demons and instructs us, His children, to do the same.

And someone from the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has a spirit that makes him mute. ... And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” ...
